Apple & Cheddar Turkey Breakfast Patties

With the classic apple & cheddar pairing, these turkey breakfast patties are the perfect combination of sweet, savory and an easy make-ahead protein option.

  • 1 cup diced red apple (about 1 small red apple)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil


  • In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients besides avocado oil.
  • Form the mixture into 8 even-sized patties.
  • Heat avocado oil in a large skillet on medium.
  • Add the patties to the skillet, ensuring they are not crowded.
  • Cook the patties until browned on each side, about 4 minutes.


Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Reheat on a skillet or by microwave.
