With the classic apple & cheddar pairing, these turkey breakfast patties are the perfect combination of sweet, savory and an easy make-ahead protein option.
diced red apple (about 1 small red apple)
cheddar cheese, cubed
crushed red pepper flakes
In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients besides avocado oil.
Form the mixture into 8 even-sized patties.
Heat avocado oil in a large skillet on medium.
Add the patties to the skillet, ensuring they are not crowded.
Cook the patties until browned on each side, about 4 minutes.
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Reheat on a skillet or by microwave.
