Blackened Salmon with Dad's Special Sauce
Delicious blackened salmon with a spicy-sweet seasoning rub is baked to perfection before being paired with a creamy, zesty sauce made with Greek yogurt, horseradish, lemon and herbs

For the Blackened Salmon:
- 4 filets salmon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
For Dad's Special Sauce:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp horseradish
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- pinch of salt & pepper
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit. Prep the salmon by blotting it dry with a paper towel or rag.
Mix the seasoning blend of 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and spread the spice mix on the filets of fish.
Bake the salmon at 425 for 25 minutes (or 10 minutes per inch of thickness).
Make the Dad's Special Sauce by mixing together the Greek yogurt, mayo, horseradish, dill, lemon, salt and pepper.
